ASIA NOW bring together, in the intimate setting of a Parisian private mansion, galleries representing artists from territories across Asia. Aiming to strengthen the ties between collectors, artists, and their works, ASIA NOW invite visitors to wander from one room to another as if they were in a collector’s private home. Opening up, breaking down the barriers, exploring, and sharing: ASIA NOW is an intimist fair enabling its audience to freshly reconsider contemporary Asian art.

In the face of commonplace shortcuts, this event is about giving the floor to artists, critics, and galleries who stand for, encourage, and promote this geography’s rich artistic scene.

For its 3rd edition, ASIA NOW continued to explore the artistic scenes in Asia, presented 30 of the most influential and internationally recognised galleries from the continent.  A particular highlight of Asia Now Paris 2017 was the Korean Platform put together by independent curator Joanne Kim. While previous editions have focused on other countries in the Asian region, for this edition, a spotlight was shone on video installations, sculptures and paintings from the Korean peninsula, provided by galleries such as The Columns, Kukje and Galerie Maria Lund.
